Ok, so mystery reveled. I ran into my good friend from high school Aaron at a wedding I did last fall. We have not seen each other or talked in years. I had a great time catching up with him and reminiscing about our high school and college days. I was so excited when his wife contacted me to do their first baby’s pictures. As most of my readers know I am strictly a wedding photographer. I only shoot family pictures or kids pictures for CLOSE FRIENDS or family. In fact, I have a couple of really big shoots planned for next week including one of my own children (wish me luck, pray for me, and send me any well wishes you can – that is the most challenging thing I take on each year). However, when I get to shoot something like this it makes me so happy!
Taegan was SOOOOOO sweet. Such a good little guy. He was awake and pleasant, and asleep and peaceful throughout most of the shoot. I told my husband I should set aside a room in my basement and do kids and babies – but then he reminded me that I already need about 4 more hours each day to accomplish that I am currently involved in.
Aaron and MeKell, thanks again for trusting me with photographing your precious little Taegan. I love you guys to death, it was so much fun to hang out with you for the afternoon. You are such cute parents and Taegan is so lucky! Please keep in touch, let’s not wait 10 more years before we catch up again!
