Is this incredible or what? 1952 190 series Mercedes Benz in MENT condition and one of a kind. Can I say it was a thrill to shoot with this amazing classic. I think the unique style of Whitney and Lane complemented it so well! I have really grown to love this couple. Whitney and I text most days, and have become good friends! LOVE HER!

I have tried to have as much fun as possible this summer while still working my tail end off. It seems like I am doing a pretty good job. July has been a busy month and I am so excited and much in need of a break. I will be out of the office until Tuesday, August 10. I will return all e-mails and phone messages at that time.

I wanted to leave you with a little something to look forward to. Here is some of what you will see when I get back… (leave a comment to enter into a drawing for a gift from my trip)!

I love it when girls do sentimental things for their wedding. I am all about a something old, something new, something, borrowed, something blue, and anything with special meaning.

No matter what your political party, who isn’t interested in the Kennedy family? My mom loved president Kennedy, and Jackelyn was totally her idol. My mom’s junior formal was a throw back to Jackie an her classic style. One of my favorite memories as a kid was when my mom took her LOOK MAGAZINE out of her cedar chest and let us look through the entire magazine documenting his assassination (I call dibs on that in the inheritance sisters!). One of the most interesting parts about the Kennedy’s was fashion. Throughout her entire life, Jackie O was revered for her classic timeless style.
When Megan was 16 she went to Washington DC with her mom and dad. She has a small and healthy (hee hee) obsession with Jaclyn Kennedy. While she was there she found these earrings that The First Lady wore during the inauguration. She promised her dad that if he got them for her that she would wear them at her wedding. That tells you what kind of style Megan has if she is turning to the ever amazing Jackie O for fashion inspiration. Sigh, I am such a sucker for sentimental things…

SHUT UP! These two have about the worst luck I have seen. We have had tough weather for both of their sessions (surrounded before and after by fantastic weather). Ashley was awesome. She sat in wet grass – Climbed on an old car in the rain, and got her pretty shoes dirty! I can’t wait for their wedding. These are so killer! Ashley’s only request is that these were “romantic”. Tell me what you think? Because of their cool style, I had to throw on some antique edits. Hope you like!

I have to leave you for the weekend with a quick picture of Shoni and Clint. Oh my gosh. Their session was incredible. I honestly have the most beautiful and sweetest brides around. I have been so excited for these formals. As a wedding photographer I see it all (so I think)! And when someone does something outside the norm I LOVE it. Check out Mallory’s style. She is so beautiful and I absolutely love this custom gown she designed and had made for her wedding. Enjoy!
