Oh my goodness, did we ever have a good time. We are so lucky to live next to our best friends. We have often laughed with them about what you call a friendship like ours. Our kids are hooked at the hip, we eat a large percentage of weekly meals together, we double date at lease one time a month, share baby sitters, and a lot of our vacationing we do together. I guess you would just call it lucky to have such great people in our lives. They are “seasoned” travelers and BJ hooked us up with an amazing vacation to Cancun. We stayed in a 4 diamond all inclusive resort on the #1 rated beach in the world (Secrets Maroma) SHUT UP! It was more than I could even handle. The doors of our suit opened up to a private swim out pool and beautiful patio. The weather was amazing, and frankly, so were the buffets! We did some great shopping, ate so much guacamole that I am on a SERIOUS diet now, and played so many rounds of cards that we lost track who came out on top (but I can guarantee it was not me!)
Dan and I have not vacationed for a couple of years, and let me tell you it was absolutely worth the wait. Good times indeed. I am sad to be home, but happy to be back to doing what I love (being a mom, and working with my amazing clients). While I was out of the office I had a lot of time to think about things, and it was great to come back to work with some goals, some plans, some ideas, and mostly some perspective. I leave tomorrow morning for a wedding in Idaho and I can not wait to get my camera back in my hand. I took my point and shoot with me to Cancun and so many times wished that I had my D3, but I guess these will do! Have a fantastic weekend, and I will be back next week with some amazing weddings to show you!

Thanks Dan for an amazing trip and for unbelievable memories! You are the best!
