Booking family sessions for September. E-mail me for details.

I have had so many people ask me if I will put on a "mommy" workshop.  This is for amiture photographers only.  It will be held on August 31st, from 10-1.  Do you want to know how to use your camera better?  How to engage with your subjects?  How to find the best light?  Bring your point and shoot, your dsl, or your poloroid.  Each person will get one-on-one time with me and your camera to cover and explain settings.  It will be a GREAT time, and you will walk away knowing more about how to capute great images of your friends and family.  The fee is $75.00 and I must have at least 5 attendees to hold the class.  So call your girlfriends and let's party!

Need a "Moment" with me?

Q&A...  I will be doing a question and answer on my blog on August 18th.  If you are interested in having ANY question answered e-mail me at mbk@me.com.  It can be anything from client interaction, to how to get the right exposure.  Ask me ANYTHING!

Introducing Chelsey…

I am so excited to introduce the newest member of the MBK family.  Chelsea is going to USU and is dual majoring in Special Education and Early Childhood Education.  She my new right hand man and will be working in my office 2-3 days a week.  She will be assisting me in many ways and helping me with some special projects.  Here is a few fun, interesting, and crazy facts about Chelsey!

-She is scared of heights and a bit claustrophobic

-She loves to read and swim (she said she could not possibly narrow it down to only one favorite book – but she loves fantasy books)

-She enjoyes every minute she gets to spend with her family and is very close with her family

-She doesn’t really have a favorite color but loves a lot of color!

-Her favorite food is Italian Chicken

-She is somewhere inbetween tity and messy

-She loves old movies like Doris Day types of films and her favorite movie of all time is pillow talk

-She has never broken a bone, had any sprains, or even been stung by a bee.  (Which is remarkable because she is a self proclaimed cluts)

-One word to describe herself is compassionate

-One thing she would change about herself is that she wishes she was more adventurous

-She does not like spiders (but who does besides 8 -12 year old little boys)

-In 20 years she sees herself married to a rich man, with 4 girls, and has a part time job teaching special ed and spending the rest of her time as a stay at home mom.  (oh ya, and she will have to have 1 golden lab)

-She likes any music other than rap and heavy metal, and adores soundtracks, classical music, and some opera.

-In High School she played the flute and is an amazing singer.

I am so excited to get to know Chelsey and I just love having her as a part of my company.  I would say that she is very self motivated and has done a great job taking on all of the crazy things I throw her way.  If she is not careful I will never let her go, and in 20 years she will still be part of the “crew”.

Chelsey, thanks for all of your hard work, you rock and I had such a fantastic time taking your pictures.  You are amazingly beautiful both inside and out!

Meet Chelsey…
