Joni and Josh

I am so glad I get several more looks at these two.

Date Night…

I just love unique sessions and this was one of those from top to bottom.  We shot late into the night to do this sunset date at first dam where these two were engaged.  Josh is from St. Lewis and so they are die hard Cardinal fans.   They did a great job, and it was all so cute!!!!  The rest of their session tomorrow…

sneak peak.

It is almost impossible to say I have a hard job.  Holy cow, fun session on it’s way.  Here is a sneak peak!  H.O.T.

blessings.

My life has been in a little bubble since August 3rd, the day we met little Olive.  I have enjoyed time a way from work, stress, and the world.  We have pulled our little family close to us and kissed and loved this baby as much as we possibly could.  But, like all things in life “the show must go on”.  So, back to work I go.. slowly!  I am so excited to being doing a much anticipated engagement session tonight, which I will feature on my blog very shortly.  The couple is so hot, I can not WAIT to get my camera on them.  More on that as it comes…

For now, here are the last of baby olive from a while back.  I can not believe how many pictures I already have of this little one.  I could just eat her right up!

Details…

One of the reasons why I declared my love for wedding photography so long ago was because I had such an interest in detail pictures.  Who knew I would LOVE them on my own little bebe!!!  Ahhh, so girlish and so pink!

5 minutes.

Oh how I miss having 5 minutes.  It is amazing how a new little baby changes your life.  It is constant, AND it is fun.  With 2 older kids going in different directions, I have to admit it is a lot to juggle.  BUT like I just said, it is so fun!  I long for 5 minutes here and there.  You know, to return the million texts setting on your phone, to check your e-mail, to make a grocery list, to shine up the bathrooms, to make your bed.  With a handful of 5 minutes throughout the day you can accomplish a lot!  SIGH, well, I will have time again someday!

In 5 minutes today I took these pics of Olive.  I still have so many pictures to post of her, but it was fun to do something fresh from today.  I know it has been a lot of OLIVE, and there is so much more to come.  Don’t get too sick of it all just yet!

She is 5 weeks now and growing and changing so fast it gives me anxiety.  She is almost 9 lbs.  We are waiting patiently for her first smile!  She is such a good baby!!!  It is hard for me not to squeeze her until she screams!

I LOVE THREE.

I never put much thought into what having three kids would be like.  I mean, I grew up in a family with two sisters, but for myself, I always thought I would have two children.  Even when I was pregnant I mourned the loss of my perfect little sized family.  You know, this world is made for a family of four, from restaurants to hotels to amusement parks.  I use to lay sick on my couch and stare at the collage of pictures of my two kids on the wall and just wonder how on earth I could add another kid to the mix.

Then it happened.  She was here before we knew it.  And now, our life is perfect!  Three is a good number.  It might just be my lucky number.  It is wonderful and it is easy and I can hardly remember what it was like before she came.  This weekend my mom said “you needed this baby, and our entire family needed this baby”, and it is true.  In the words of Jerry Maguire, or was it Dorothy?  I can’t remember, but at any rate, this little baby completes me!  As cheesy as it is that is the way I feel.  She is my little soul sister and I am madly in love with her.  I LOVE THREE!

Hunter is such a stud, and he is the perfect brother to two little sisters.  Soft enough to love them completely, but rough enough to keep them from being too girly!  I love these pictures of him and the baby!!!!  Ahh, my heart full!

Olive.

Props to my 9 year old who stood on a stool and took all of these pics.  Impressive!
