Does that tell you I am totally a child of the 90’s? I remember in Jr. High getting the single to Donny Osmond’s Soldier of Love and it was one of my FAVORITE songs. I listed to my “cassette tape” on my “boom box” (wow, I just became so uncool!) over and over. In fact, if I dug through my boxes of high school stuff, I bet you I would find it there! Anyway, this little story is all leading somewhere – stay with me here!
Dan (my husband) called me one afternoon. I happen to be on a photo shoot and couldn’t really talk, but when he said do you want to go to a dinner with Donny Osmond and then a concert I started to squeal. I know that some of you might be laughing right now, but I am out of the closet. I true blue Donnie fan, and I am proud of it.
Oh my gosh, we had so much fun. It was amazing food. It the first event held at the new River Woods event center and it was beautiful. I grabbed my camera for the concert, and even looking at the pictures makes me happy! We were on the 3rd row, and when he finished the show with Soldier of Love I seriously wanted to run to the stage and become a groupy!
